10♥️ is our summer card. The image reminds us of abundance, ease, joy, warmth, celebration and delight. The colours are vivid and alive. We may want to stay here all the time but this too will pass. Just as the seasons change, so will our journey but we too will cycle and circle. We can look forward to more summer days again.
Find your J♦️ and 10♠️: these invite us to notice and practice gratefulness. If we make these into regular habits we can store some of this summertime away for when the harder times are with us. We enjoy summertime because of wintertime. The red and the black colours in playing cards are a reminder of this too. Everything changes and all passes. You might notice a mixture of feelings at times of joy.
"Saudade" is a Portuguese term that represents a complex and deep emotional state. It conveys a sense of longing, nostalgia that might be described as profound melancholic joy. It is often described as a mixture of happiness for experiencing something beautiful that is passing and sadness because that moment is leaving.
